My little Ping has been suffering recurring UTI symptoms over the passed 7 months. She had a X-ray image of the bladder taken last October which was clear of any problem. A urinalysis of her urine has been done at about a 6 week interval which has reported possible infection but low numbers of struvite crystals. Diagnosis was for FLUTD. She again is making frequent trips to her litter box, has unusually small quantity of passed urine, streaks of blood in urine. She's been on an antibiotic in Oct, Dec and again for two weeks this month of June. This recent X-ray photo recorded on 6/24/13 now shows a bladder stone. The cost of surgery is estimated to be little over $2000. Ping is 7 yr 11 months old.
