Fall 2006 - Yellowstone & The Tetons

This was our second trip to Yellowstone. We went originally back in the fall of 1992
The after-effects of the 1988 Fire were still very evident then (as they are even today).
This time we spent a lot more time in the park. We flew to Jackson, WY and then drove
up to West Yellowstone. MT (through Idaho). We had three days in West Yellowstone, MT,
one day driving the Beartooth highway to Red Lodge, MT (and back), two days at Grant Village,
and then four days in back in Jackson, WY. It was very hazy and smokey in both parks. There
were several fires in the parks and one very large one in southern Montana.
