Movement '08: Detroit Electronic Music Festival

This year's galleries are smaller and tighter. Instead of documenting the festival day-by-day as in 2007, this year I hope to express the feelings of life & energy of the music and (mostly) young people who come from around the world to Detroit, the electronic music mecca, every Memorial Day weekend. They call me Grandma Techno and that's who I am--everyone's grandma. But not the kind who sits in her rocker & knits. Oh no, I'm the one who's up on her feet boogying down with the best of 'em.
