Front brake on the right lever

Portland International Raceway

Is that a Portland thing? I've always set my bike up with the front brake on the right. I just noticed that three of these guys are the same.

Jeff, anyone next to Mike Murray looks tall. I'd say it's Randy Root.

I'd guess the hidden rider would probably be Ron Wagner. No one else is that tall. Mike looks to be struggling. Way to go Mike.

Front brake on the right was the conventional European set up. I owned a bicycle shop in the '70's and we set up everything that way.

With Mike Murray on the left? and Jeff McKillip on the right. Mike and Candy Murray have been instrumental in making Oregon a leading bike racing region.
