Lyle, thank you for posting and for verifying that it was Coral Way and for your comments about growing up in the 30's and 40's. Please feel free to post more comments under other photos or this photo, whatever is convenient to you. People are interested in reading about what it was like to grow up here way back when and there are very few posting about your era. We have plenty of 50's and 60's but not earlier like you. Thanks!
Don .

True. I also was at the Coral Way DQ twice a week when I went to Miami High. That was our hang out in 1949 thur 5l. They even knew us by name. I lived on SW 22 Ter. and 19th Ave. What a great place to grow up in back in the 30's and 40's. Many sweet memories of vacant lots, trips on our bikes down to bay, and all the movie houses. What a time to live.

It's probably SW 22nd St. There was a Dairy Queen on Coral Way just west of SW 32nd Avenue that we frequented almost weekly, especially in 1955 when I was a senior at Miami High.
