A western brown snake at Jim Jim Falls in Kakadu. 6th most venomous land snake in Australia and this one about 1 meter long.
I am standing on some rocks about 1 meter away so I am safe. The snake was not bothered by us at all since we kept our distance of course.
My first venomous snake in the wild!
