My Son

My Son flourished as the sacred heart of the Champa kingdom from the late 400s to the mid 1200s and endured till the 17th century when it was absorbed by Vietnam. Although My Son has been designated a World Heritage Site, but much of it was destroyed during the American War, and sad to say, I don't think it's worth the time or effort, which is considerable, to see these ruins. The best of Champa art is in the Cham Museum in Danang.
