First snow

I took a walk through our first snowfall, to McKay Lake. The temperatures are supposed to warm up over the next few days, so I am sure the snow will soon vanish.

This haiku is from "Haiku: An anthology of Japanese poems" by Stephen Addiss, Fumiko Yamamoto and Akira Yamamoto.

We had the same thing last week. Three inches of snow and then tied a record for the date, yesterday. Balmy again today.
