Baird's Sandpiper

Ensley area; Shelby Co, TN

This Baird's looked to have almost completely molted into basic plumage. None of the characteristic dark splotches in the scaps of breeding plumage were present. We mostly get juveniles coming through in the fall, and this is the 1st fall adult this far along in molt that I've seen.
