Update 3/20/13: I received an e-mail and this information from Jess Hearn: "On your website, 1960-1969 old Miami, you have a picture of the 1968 Super Bowl ticket and article about kids crashing through the Orange Bowl gate. I'm the one that first sent the e-mail out to my other two friends who crashed the gate with me. I have possession of the ticket and article. The story goes, after the cops rounded us up and threw us out, we helped a fan carry his attache case to his car where we asked him for his ticket stub. We would each take turns going in and tossing the ticket with weight to the other fellow. I was last, and the cops got wise and started chase. Luckily, I was able to grab the ticket and run around to the other side to get in. All of us got to see the second half. Please credit the picture to: Jess Hearn, John Peachey, George Moreyra"
This game in the Orange Bowl was called the AFL-NFL World Championship Game originally and was later known as Super Bowl II. The NFL's champion Green Bay Packers (9-4-1) beat the AFL's champion Oakland Raiders (13-1) 33 to 14. Bart Starr, quarterback for Green Bay, was named the Super Bowl MVP for the second time for completing 13 of 24 passes for 202 yard and one touchdown.
