The plant has an upright habit, is moderately floriferous, and flowers are intensely fragrant. Pure deep pink flowers with no purple tones. Flower form is similar to M. cambellii. Flowers approx. 10"+ wide and are very fragrant. Foliage has wavy margins and matures to 6" wide and 10" long. Growth habit is narrowly upright and formal in appearance. Growth rate is medium. Mature height 30’+. Flowers open very late in the season. This is truly one of the best magnolias ever created!!!
