Funnel-shaped, 5-lobed, wavy-edged fls of heavy substance are 1.75" across x 2.4" long, light yellowish pink (37D); calyx 0.5" long,green. Ball truss of c20 fls is 5" wide x 3.5" high. Lvs held 3 years, elliptic, flat, acute (apex), cuneate (base), 6" x 2"; glossy above, white woolly indumentum below, aging to tan. Shrub moderately floriferous, 6' high x 4' wide 25 years from seed; plant hardy to at least -20°F; buds, -10°F. June.
