This gallery chronicles the planning and development of the Kehr Memorial Garden. This is being done by members of the Southeastern Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society and the Vaseyi Chapter of the Azalea Society of America in memory of Dr August E Kehr. Current plans are to have several gardens on the grounds of St John in the Wilderness church, at the intersection of Rutledge Drive with US25 in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Members of the committee are Jim Holmes (Chair), John Brown, Ed Collins, David Dethero, Ray Head, Dan Veazey and Bob Stelloh. For information on how you can help, send an email to Bob Stelloh. We are looking for Kehr hybrids (azaleas, rhododendrons and magnolias), money and workers as the gardens progress.
