Some maps spell this Zhemgang.
Shemgang lies to the south of Trongsa at a much lower altitude. We camped for three nights near Tingtibi at an improvised camp site since the usual location had already been occupied by another birding party. It was amazing that the boys found any level ground on which to pitch our tents. Birding along the Shemgang Road is excellent.
